I just join the the Dufour 27 Owners Forum. We sail Petite Cherie our 1974 Dufour 27 on the Northern Chesapeake Bay; our home Port-of-Call is Severna Park, Maryland which is located on the Magothy River. Our cruising grounds extend North, about 20 miles to Fairlee Creek on the Chesapeake’s Eastern Shore; South, about 30 miles to Saint Michaels; and East, 20 miles to Lankford Bay on the Chester River. Pictures of Petite Cherie are on the web at www.dufour27.comI would like to see pictures of your Dufour 27. Best Regards, Dick Attachments:

Welcome Dick, I am myself a new member of the forum since we bought our boat last spring. I enjoyed reading your website a lot. Loved the picture of all the refits and repairs you did, they make for a very convenient reference when planning future upgrade to the boat. I spotted a surprising difference between our boats: above the companion way there is a removable piece (with screws) that holds the sliding hatch. Yours is flat whereas mine as a vertical part that can receive instrument screens. (see picture attached) We are fortunate enough in southern France to be able to sail most of the year. Our last time was yesterday, the boat behaved as well as usual and we had a great, though chilly, time. best simon Attachments:
